Cynthia E. Jacobs

Cynthia E. Jacobs is a Fine Artist in Oakland, California. Cynthia has been a creative crafting and art powerhouse all of her long life and this website gallery is a good sampling of her lifetime of artistic endeavors. Cynthia is an old-school artist, she doesn’t use computers in the creation of her artwork, and everything she does comes with her sensibility in regards to human energy, emotion, and spirit. In her drawings she always pays attention to really capturing the moment and “the quality of the line”, her collages are multiple-layered figures she somehow builds in her head and then with scissors, and her mixed media pieces like “The Saints” combine stained glass and other crafts, art, and found items in truly revolutionary ways.
